What it is

The TWIN AIR OIL CAP HON CRF250 18-, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

A bolt-in aluminium oil cap for the 2018-on CRF 250 R and the CRF 250 F. It seats in the engine casing and retains the filter element. Cooling fins machined into the face add surface area to bleed heat from the oil. Where the cast factory part cracks under a knock or an over-keen torque wrench, this billet version holds. Transfer the rubber O-ring or fit a new one before assembly, then torque to the workshop spec. A straight replacement that drops in during a normal oil change on your Honda.
