What it is

The TWIN AIR OIL FILTER, oil filters. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Twin Air oil filter for the larger KTM, Husqvarna and Husaberg four-strokes, fitting EXC, SX-F, XC-F and XC-W models from 250 up to 500. Crosses KTM 770.38.005.000, 770.38.005.044 and the HF655 number. It seats in the lower casing and traps debris before oil reaches the top-end. Drop the oil, swap the filter, check the sealing O-ring is square in its groove. A 450 race motor leans hard on oil pressure and clean flow to survive a moto. Keep the intervals tight and it earns its keep.
