An oil filter for Husqvarna and Sherco four-strokes, covering the TC and TE 449 to 511, the Sherco 2.5 and 5.1, and related platforms. It traps the abrasive particles a hard-run engine sheds into its oil, keeping the bore and crank bearings fed with clean lubricant under load. The galleries stay clear only if the element does its job, so renew it at every service, around five hours for MX or technical enduro. Fit it the right way round and check the housing O-ring is sound before you seal the cover.
