What it is

The TWIN AIR OIL FILTER CAP ALUMINUM, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

CNC oil filter cap for the CRF 450 R, 450 RWE and 450 RX, replacing the cast original. It locks the filter element into the casing and seals the oil cavity. The finned outer face works as a small heat sink, drawing temperature out of the lubrication circuit. Billet aluminium resists the cracking that strikes the factory casting under impact or a heavy hand on the bolts. Carry the rubber O-ring across or fit fresh, then torque to the manual figure. Fits straight in at your next top-up.
