§ 02 / About this part
What it is
Twin Air radiator sleeve to fit Yamaha YZ250F (2019–2023); Yamaha YZ450F (2018–2022).
These mesh screens act as a first line of defence for your cooling system. They slide directly over the plastic radiator louvres to catch mud, sand, and roost before it packs into the cooling fins. Clogged fins lead to rapid overheating and potential engine failure during a race. These are vital for heavy sand tracks or wet winter MX sessions in the UK. The fitment is model-specific to ensure the mesh stays taut under pressure. Installation is simple. Remove your louvres, slide the sleeves on, and reinstall. They are a consumable item for serious racers.
