This 112-link chain is engineered to provide precise timing for your engine. It sits in the top-end, connecting the crankshaft to the cams. Cam chains are a wear item and should be replaced during any major engine service. Stretching leads to retarded timing and can cause the chain to jump teeth on the sprockets.
