This top-end kit is designed for small-capacity engines requiring a 48.50mm bore. It sits above the crank, acting as the seal for combustion. Size B is slightly oversized to account for minor cylinder wear, maintaining the tight tolerances required for maximum compression. Regular replacement is vital to prevent the piston from rocking in the bore, which can lead to ovality or plating damage. The kit includes the rings, gudgeon pin, and circlips. Ensure the cylinder is deglazed before installation to allow the new rings to seat correctly against the wall.
