This D-size piston kit is intended for cylinders with significant wear or those at the end of their service life. It sits in the top-end and includes the piston, rings, pin, and circlips. The D-sizing is the largest in the range to maintain tight tolerances in a worn bore. Use a dial bore gauge to verify your cylinder requires this 54.00mm D-fitment. Regular top-end maintenance prevents expensive damage to the cylinder and crank. Ensure the ring gaps are correctly spaced and the circlips are secure. Check the squish clearance during the final assembly of your bike.
