This component is the primary wear item in your top-end. It sits within the cylinder bore and converts combustion into drive. Incremental sizing allows you to maintain tight tolerances as the cylinder plating wears over time. This A-size kit is for new or replated cylinders. Regular replacement is essential for 2-stroke performance to prevent blow-by and lost compression. Check your bore size with a bore gauge to select the correct grade. Clean all carbon from the head and power valve before reassembly.
