Vertex piston kit Ø78.00 A to fit Gas Gas MC125 (2021–2023); Gas Gas MC250F (2021–2023); Husqvarna FC250 (2016–2022); KTM SX-F250 (2016–2022); KTM XC-F250 (2016–2017); KTM XC-F250I (2018–2022); KTM XC125 (2021–2024).

This kit is a direct replacement for KTM part 79030207000. It is an A-sized piston for fresh or low-hour 250cc four-stroke cylinders. The piston sits at the heart of your top-end, converting combustion into drive. Four-stroke pistons face extreme thermal stress and require replacement to avoid oil consumption and power loss. This kit includes the rings, pin, and circlips. Use a torque wrench on the cylinder head bolts to ensure even clamping pressure. Always replace the head gasket when fitting a new piston kit to maintain a reliable seal on your bike.
