Your front suspension damping depends on these seals to maintain the correct oil pressure and volume. Seated in the fork sliders, they wipe the stanchions clean and retain the internal fluid. Leaks are common after hard enduro sessions where grit bypasses the wipers. This kit replaces the OEM part number 800057389 for a factory-standard fit. During installation, inspect the chrome for any stone chips that could tear the new rubber. Use a dedicated seal driver to press them into the bore evenly. Keeping these fresh prevents oil from reaching your front brake disc and pads.
