Leaking fork oil is a sign of failed seals that can no longer hold pressure. These units sit in the sliders and are responsible for keeping the damping fluid contained during the stroke. Mud and sand are the main culprits for seal failure, grinding away at the rubber lips until they weep. This kit replaces numerous OEM part numbers for a wide range of bikes. When installing, ensure the stanchions are polished and free of sharp burrs. Use a seal driver to press them home evenly. Fresh seals restore the hydraulic integrity of your front suspension.
