What it is

Athena top-end gasket kit to fit Kawasaki KX 80 17/14 (1998–2000); Kawasaki KX 80 19/16 (1998–2000); Kawasaki KX 85 17/14 (2001–2006); Kawasaki KX 85 I 17/14 (2007–2013); Kawasaki KX 85 II 19/16 (2007–2013).

This kit contains the essential seals for a top-end refresh or piston change. It includes the cylinder head gasket, base gasket, and exhaust seals. For four-stroke applications, it often includes valve stem seals to prevent oil consumption. For two-strokes, it covers the power valve assembly. These components handle the highest heat and pressure in the engine. Fresh gaskets ensure a proper seal against combustion gases and coolant. Clean the head and cylinder surfaces thoroughly before fitting. Always check your squish clearance after assembly to maintain engine timing and performance.
