What it is

SKF 6005-2RSH sealed cartridge. 25mm bore, 47mm OD, 12mm width. Sits in the hub and carries the axle load while the wheel spins. The 2RSH double-lip seals keep water and grit out — the failure mode on any MX or enduro wheel that sees river crossings, jet-washes and ruts. Check for play and listen for that dry grinding note after every few rides. A notched outer race transmits straight into the swingarm bearings and kills shock feel. Press it in square. Heat the hub or freeze the bearing, drive on the outer race only, never the inner. Replace in pairs, both sides of the wheel, and refit fresh seals while you're in there.
