What it is

The BLACKBIRD RACING DOUBLE GRIP 3 SEAT COVER BLUE/BLACK, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Blackbird's Double Grip 3 uses two textures where a stock cover uses one. The raised pattern across the top holds you in place under hard acceleration; the side panels are cut for gripping the bike with your knees. This blue/black version is shaped for the Yamaha YZ 250 F, YZ 450 F, WR 250 F and WR 450 F seat base. Staple-on fit over your existing foam. If knee braces have chewed through the original, or the surface has gone slick, this is the standard fix. Check the foam is dry and sound before you fit it, and pull the cover tight as you work round the base.
