What it is

The BLACKBIRD RACING DOUBLE GRIP 3 SEAT COVER ORANGE/BLACK, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Cut for the SX 85 seat base, in both 17/14 and 19/16 wheel trims. Small-bore riders move around the bike more than anyone, and a slick seat costs corner speed. The Double Grip 3's textured top and gripped sides give an 85 pilot something to lock onto over jump faces and under braking. Stretch the cover before fitting, staple the nose first, then work rearwards alternating sides so tension stays even. Replaces a torn or glazed original for a fraction of a complete seat.
