Blackbird's Double Grip 3 mixes two materials: a hard-wearing base with high-friction panels where you sit and grip. It is cut to the CRF seat profile, so it covers the 250 and 450 in R, RX and X trim without bunching at the nose. Strip the old staples, check the foam is dry, and work from the front back to keep tension even. The grip holds when the seat is soaked, which is most of the UK season.
