What it is

Another RM-Z 450 fitment of Blackbird's Double Grip 3, in the yellow/black colourway. The idea is simple: friction where you sit, control where you grip. The patterned top panel resists the backwards slide a 450 four-stroke generates off the gate, and the side panels take the abuse from knee braces instead of tearing like thin stock vinyl. It fits the standard RM-Z 450 seat base and foam, fixed with staples in the usual way. Stretch it evenly front to rear before the final staples go in, or it will wander under load.
