This black Pyramid cover suits the older Yamaha two- and four-stroke line, the YZ 125, YZ 250, YZ 250 F and the 400 F and 426 F. The textured face holds your weight where you put it, so you ride from the right spot instead of fighting a slick seat in deep going. Fit it over your existing foam: lift the old cover off the base, staple the front and back to set tension, then bring the edges round. Time to replace when the texture goes shiny or the seam opens and the foam starts soaking up trail water.
