What it is

The BLACKBIRD RACING SEATCOVER DG3 SX85, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

The DG3 is Blackbird's double-grip layout: a high-traction top panel that holds the rider in place under braking and acceleration, with calmer sides so knees and boots can still move about the bike. This one is cut for the KTM SX 85 in both 17/14 and 19/16 wheel trims, so it lands on the standard seat base without bunching. Fitting is the usual staple job. Strip the old cover, pull this on front to back, keep the tension even. Cheap insurance against a split factory seam letting water into the foam mid-season.
