What it is

This is the 2024-pattern Blackbird cover cut for the CRF 250 R, CRF 250 X and CRF 450 X seat bases. The gripper surface holds you in place on braking bumps and steep enduro descents, where a shiny original cover has you sliding into the tank. Underneath, it does the unglamorous job: sealing the foam against water and wash-down pressure. Foam that stays dry keeps its shape; foam that soaks up water sags and adds weight. Staple it on with the material warm and under even tension for a clean, wrinkle-free wrap.
