What it is

The BLACKBIRD RACING SEATFOAM +15 YZ 22, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Tall foam for the Yamaha YZ and YZ-F, adding 15mm over the standard profile. Useful if you're long in the leg or want a quicker change from sitting to standing through technical ground. Stock foam collapses and waterlogs after enough jet-washing; this closed-cell version holds its density through a hard race season and sheds water. Sits straight onto your existing seat base as a direct fit. You'll need a fresh cover and a heavy-duty stapler to finish it. Make sure the base is clean and dry before you pull the new cover over and staple it home.
