What it is

This Blackbird +15mm foam lifts the seat stack on the 2003-2005 Yamaha YZ 250 F and YZ 450 F. The added height eases the sit-to-stand transition for taller riders and flattens the seat so your weight stays planted through a corner. Closed-cell construction holds its density and resists the water that bloats and softens worn OEM foam after a pressure wash. Mount it to your original plastic base, staple your existing cover back over the top, and refit. Make sure the base is clean and dry before you start.
