What it is

The BOYESEN RAD VALVE CARBON FIBER, top end. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This reed valve system replaces the entire OEM intake block to improve airflow velocity. It sits directly between your carburettor and the cylinder. The carbon fiber petals react faster than standard versions to sharpen throttle response across the rev range. Over time, petals can chip or lose tension, leading to difficult starting and a muddy bottom-end. This is a model-specific fitment designed to optimise the intake tract of your 2-stroke engine. Always use fresh gaskets during installation to prevent air leaks. It is a vital upgrade for any top-end rebuild or performance tuning.
