These fibreglass petals serve as a direct replacement for your OEM intake reeds. They sit within the reed block to control the fuel-air mixture entering the crankcase. Fibreglass offers excellent durability and a predictable power delivery across the rev range. You should check these for fatigue or cracking whenever you have the carb or throttle body off the bike. Worn petals lead to hard starting and lost low-end power. These match the original equipment specifications for a reliable seal against the reed cage. Clean the seating area thoroughly before fitting to prevent air leaks.
