What it is

The CYCRA FULL ARMOR SKID PLATE HONDA RED, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

A full-coverage injection-moulded guard that wraps the lower frame rails and the engine cases on the Honda CRF 450 R. It shields the water pump and ignition cover, the two spots a case strike tends to find first. The smooth belly slides over logs and ruts instead of hooking on them, and the moulded shell stays cleaner-looking than a bashed alloy plate. Bolts to the frame with the supplied hardware. Re-check the bracket bolts after the first few rides and at every service, since impacts work them loose. Built for hard enduro and technical trail, where a holed case ends the day.
