What it is

The CYCRA FULL ARMOR SKID PLATE KAWASAKI GREEN, plastics & bodywork. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Cycra's full skid plate wraps the lower frame rails and engine cases on the KX 450 F. Injection-moulded, so it flexes on a hard case strike instead of denting and trapping the bash like an alloy plate. Covers the water pump and ignition cover, the two spots that grenade an engine when a rock finds them. Smooth belly lets the bike slide over logs and ledges rather than hooking. Bolts to the factory frame mounts with the supplied hardware. Built for hard enduro and rocky trail, where contact is the rule, not the exception. Check the brackets at every service.
