What it is

The CYCRA FULL ARMOR SKID PLATE YAMAHA BLACK, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Full Armor is Cycra's wraparound skid plate for the WR 250 F, WR 450 F and YZ 250/450 FX. It reaches further round than the slim plates to cover the water pump and ignition cover, the side cases that take the hits in technical going. Composite construction soaks up impacts that crack alloy or dent frame tubes. The smooth underside lets the bike slip over logs and rock steps instead of hanging up. Bolts to the existing mounts. Clear the mud out now and then so trapped packing does not hold engine heat. Black finish. The plate for hard enduro where side-case damage is a real risk.
