Slim MX-Race guards in red and black. Bar-mounted and sitting ahead of the levers, they deflect roost and debris off the hands and guard against a stray lever pull in a tight pack. The plastic gives on a hit but stays put at race pace, so it shrugs off knocks instead of cracking. Suited to moto and hare and hounds riders who keep the cockpit lean. Replace them when the mounting brackets bend or the plastic starts to whiten under stress. Run the bar through full lock and check the cables move freely before you ride.
