The Cycra Pro bar pad covers the crossbar or central clamp, the spot your chest and chin find in a heavy landing or a crash. The foam takes the hit; the outer shell shrugs off fuel splash and pressure-washing so it doesn't go soggy mid-season. It cinches down with Velcro straps to fit standard crossbar bars, so it's a quick swap with no tools. Once the foam packs down or the cover splits, it's done its job and stops protecting; fit a fresh one. Cheap insurance for the part of the bike you land on.
