This complete kit includes cork-based friction plates, steel plates, and heavy-duty springs to fully refresh your transmission. Friction plates eventually glaze or wear thin, while steel plates warp from excessive heat. This leads to slipping or poor gear selection. Replacing the entire stack ensures all components wear at the same rate. Before installation, soak the friction plates in your gearbox oil for at least four hours. This prevents burning the material on your first ride. It is a vital service item for hard-ridden MX and enduro bikes.
