These cork-based friction plates are a standard replacement for your clutch assembly. They sit in the basket and provide the necessary grip for power transfer. This material is ideal for general trail riding and MX where a smooth, predictable engagement is preferred. Replace these when the clutch starts to slip or during your scheduled engine maintenance. They are a direct fit for the OEM components. You must soak these plates in fresh engine oil for at least four hours before fitting. This prevents the cork from glazing or burning during the first use.
