What it is

EBC CSK series steel coil clutch spring to fit Honda CB350S (1986–1988); Honda CB500T (1975–1977); Honda FT500 (1982); Honda XL500R (1982); Honda XL500S (1980–1982); Honda XL600R (1983–1987); Honda XR500 (1979–1980); Honda XR500R (1981–1982, 1984).

These springs provide the clamping force for your clutch pack. They sit inside the clutch pressure plate and hold the assembly together. Over time, heat cycles cause standard springs to fatigue and lose their tension. This results in clutch slip under load. Replacing them restores firm lever feel and ensures positive drive. They offer a higher tension than stock components to prevent fade during hard race starts or deep sand riding. Swap these out whenever you install new friction plates. It is a straightforward bolt-on upgrade for your clutch basket.
