Restore lever feel and prevent clutch slip with a set of heavy-duty coil springs. Over time, heat cycles cause OEM springs to fatigue and shorten, reducing the pressure on your plate stack. These steel springs are wound slightly stiffer than stock to ensure positive engagement under load. They sit inside the clutch pressure plate and provide the clamping force needed for efficient power transfer. Replace these whenever you install new friction plates or if you notice the clutch slipping at high RPM. Check your workshop manual for the correct torque sequence on the pressure plate bolts.
