This shifter mounts to the selector shaft on the left side of the engine. It is a direct replacement for the original part on your bike. Junior racing often results in bent arms or damaged folding tips from track-side impacts. If the internal splines become loose, they will eventually strip the gear shaft. This part features a folding tip to reduce the risk of snapping during a slide. Always clean the selector shaft splines before fitting the new unit. Torque the pinch bolt properly to ensure a secure fit.
