It mounts directly to the gearbox selector shaft splines. The folding tip design helps prevent shaft damage during a low-side or impact with track markers. This part serves as a direct replacement for OEM part 24700-KZ3-J50. Ensure the splines on your selector shaft are clean before installation. Torque the pinch bolt to factory specifications to prevent slipping or premature wear on the shaft.
