Rear hub bearings take the worst of it — torque from the chain, grit off the rear tyre, water from every crossing and every pressure wash. Detect play in the wheel or hear grinding, the races are pitted. Replace them. This kit ships OEM-spec bearings and seals sized for the listed KDX/KLR/KLX/KX hubs. Seat each bearing fully against the internal spacer on press-in — short of that and the inner races load wrong and the kit eats itself inside a meeting. Spin the wheel after assembly. No drag on the disc, no drag on the sprocket.
