The KDX 220 R is a trail-bred two-stroke with more bottom-end than the 200. Smooth power delivery off idle, pulls cleanly through the midrange, and forgiving on tight singletrack. The cast OEM piston is the known weak point — forged replacements are the standard fix before skirt failure cracks a case.
