The HOT RODS TRANSMISSION BEARING KIT, engine. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This kit replaces the bearings for the primary and secondary shafts of your gearbox. These components sit inside the engine cases to support the transmission assembly. Replace these during a full bottom-end rebuild or if you find metallic debris in your oil. Worn bearings lead to shaft play and imprecise shifting. Installation requires splitting the cases. Heat the cases and freeze the bearings to seat them correctly without using a press. Verify all thrust washers and shims against your workshop manual during the rebuild. This ensures the gear stacks remain aligned under heavy load.
