Top-end time. Pull the head, measure the bore, check piston-to-wall clearance against your manual. New piston, new rings, fresh gaskets every time the cases or jug come apart. Don't reuse a head gasket because it looks fine. While the head's off, check valve seats, spring free length, and crank play side-to-side. Set ring gap with a feeler in the bore. Torque every fastener in sequence, in stages, to factory spec. Filter by bike to pull the right internals for your engine.
