What it is
The K&L SUPPLY K&L-SUPPLY, FUEL PETCOCK REPAIR KIT, KAWASAKI/YAMAHA, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
A petcock that won't fully shut lets fuel creep down into the crankcase during storage, and on an older bike that is rarely the petrol's fault. It's the perished O-rings and diaphragm. This kit replaces them across a range of Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha machines, including the KLX 250, the DR 250 and DR 350 thumpers, and several road-going models. Clean the mating faces before reassembly so the new rubber seats flat. Done right, you get back the positive click between on, off and reserve. A service item, not a luxury.
