A threaded clutch cable adjuster that sits at the front of the perch. Wind it in or out to set free-play and chase out cable stretch mid-moto without reaching for tools. Knurled head turns by hand. Most riders replace one when the threads strip in the perch or the head rounds off after a tumble. Get the adjustment right and the clutch fully disengages instead of dragging under load. Line the slot up with the perch opening before you feed the cable through. A drop of light oil on the threads stops it seizing through a wet British winter.
