Holds the throttle tube and anchors the cable ends on the right side of the CRF 250 F cockpit. The casing takes the hit in a spill, and the internal threads for the cable adjusters strip with age, so a tired housing means vague throttle return and a wobbling assembly under load. This replacement mounts solid and keeps the twist grip predictable. Seat the locating pin or clamp correctly so the unit cannot spin on the bar, and confirm the grip snaps back cleanly before you ride. A clean housing is the difference between sharp throttle and guesswork.
