Seized or pitted pistons cause brake drag and inconsistent lever feel. These replacements restore smooth movement within the caliper bore. They are machined to OEM specifications for a precise fit. Inspect your existing pistons for scoring or corrosion during every pad change. If the surface is compromised, the seals will fail prematurely. These sit inside the caliper housing and are pushed by hydraulic pressure. Ensure the bore is immaculate before sliding these into place. Use a dedicated assembly lube or fresh brake fluid for the install to avoid seal damage.
