Moose hot start cable for Yamaha YZ-F and WR-F four-strokes, also catalogued against the Suzuki RM-Z 450. It works the hot start valve on the carb, leaning the mixture so a hot engine fires first kick after a get-off. The throw and tension are set for these models, so the lever feel matches stock. Grit and water eventually creep into the housing and bind or snap the inner wire, usually at the worst moment. Clear any debris from the lever pivot before fitting. Set the routing so the cable never tightens when you turn the bars to full lock.
