What it is

The Moose Offroad CAP GAS ALUM HUS/BU, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

A billet alloy cap for the shared KTM-platform tanks on Husqvarna and Husaberg four-strokes and two-strokes. The FE 250 through 501, the TE and TX two-strokes, the FX motocross machines all carry the same plastic original that cross-threads or seizes once the moulding swells. This one keeps its threads and gives muddy gloves something to grip. Centre port fits a standard breather hose or a one-way valve. Set the tank neck clean before fitting and check the o-ring seats flat. Hand-tight on the start line, off again at the end of the moto.
