What it is

Moose Offroad clutch cables to fit Yamaha WR250F (2001–2014); Yamaha WR400F (2000); Yamaha WR426F (2001–2002); Yamaha YZ250F (2001–2002); Yamaha YZ426F (2000–2002).

The clutch cable carries lever input down to the actuator arm. Grit ingress and repeated heat cycles eventually drag the inner wire or fray the ends at the barrels, and a heavy pull or notchy feel is your warning. This one cross-references Yamaha OEM 5SF-26335-00-00 and the three 5UM variants, fitting the WR 250 F, WR 400 F, WR 426 F, YZ 250 F and YZ 426 F. Route it the way the factory did so it clears the header and never binds on full lock. Seat the barrel in the perch, then set free-play.
