What it is

The Moose Offroad CLUTCH CABLES, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

A clutch cable that has done its time goes stiff at the lever and vague at the bite point, usually from inner-wire drag or a frayed barrel end. This replacement cross-references Yamaha OEM 17D-26335-50-00 and 5XC-26335-R0-00, made for the YZ 250 F. Match the original routing through the frame so the housing stays off the header pipe and free of binding at full lock. Seat both barrels properly, the lever end and the actuator end, before you touch the adjuster. Set free-play last and the bite returns clean.
