What it is

A clutch cable for the Yamaha YZ 250 F and YZ 450 F, crossing to OEM 5UL-26335-00-00. It links the lever to the release mechanism on the engine. Friction and grit eat the inner lining over time and the pull turns stiff and dead. Fit a new one and the action goes back to smooth and linear. Thread it through the factory guides, away from moving parts and the header heat, then check lever free-play so the plates engage and release clean. A standard service item that saves your forearm over a long moto.
