This cable replaces OEM 8000 90710 and 8000 B0549, providing a direct fit for your clutch system. It transmits your hand movement to the internal release bearing. Over time, the outer conduit can crack, allowing water to corrode the inner steel wire. This results in a stiff, inconsistent action that hinders your control. When fitting, verify that the cable ends seat correctly in the perch and the engine bracket. Avoid sharp radiuses in the routing to maintain a smooth pull. Regular inspection of the barrel ends will prevent unexpected failure during a session.
